DO Duc Toan (Thomas) from Vietnam

Thomas from Vietnam topped the 2011 graduates with an average grade of 96% across all subjects. As recognition of this incredible achievement, Thomas was awarded a NZ$10,000 scholarship from Massey University to study Bachelor of Business.

Thomas says, " One year living in New Zealand and a remarkable year in Taylors College has slipped away quickly. I have been very fortunate to spend the past year here studying and meeting new, interesting people from all walks of life.

It has been a truly unforgettable year one that has given me many new experiences. I feel very proud to be in New Zealand and to be part of Taylors College. I am really thankful for the life lessons I got from all the extraordinary teachers and wonderful friends here."

The sisters are both studying for a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Auckland.

" Hello, everyone! We are twins, although we have much in common, actually our characters are very different. You can guess who is the older sister. We come from Beijing, the capital of China. Several years ago we obtained New Zealand Permanent Residency. How lucky we are!

New Zealand is a very beautiful country. There are not only modern high-rise buildings but also quiet countryside and pastures. We feel quite hopeful about our future, so, we will never give up chasing after our dreams.

In the past year, we've gained lots of pleasant memories through studying in Taylors College. Here, we have a group of professional teachers. With their help, we successfully completed our foundation studies. Now we have enough experience and confidence to move on to our future study at university "
