Taylors Auckland Foundation Year (TAFY) July, September & October 2007 Results
- 97% of the July, September and October TAFY students received a final offer from a tertiary institute
- 95% of these received offers from our partner universities: The University of Auckland, AUT University and Massey University
- Students also accepted offers from The University of Melbourne, Monash University, Victoria University and the University of Adelaide.
Business and Commerce degrees continue to be the most popular choices, however, this year the majority of the October cohort of students chose Bachelor of Arts at The University of Auckland. The expanding range of Engineering and Technology programmes at New Zealand universities offers our scientists varied study options and Science and Engineering are also well sought after courses.

- Xiran Zhong (July intake) from China scored 99% in Mathematics A (Statistics) and 374 for her best 4 subjects. She gained entrance to the Faculty of Commerce at The University of
Auckland
- Ngo Viet Phuong (September intake) from Vietnam achieved 386 for his best 4 subjects with 4 subjects over 95%. He elected to study a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Adelaide
- Cao Yingfei (October intake) from China, with a score of 374 for her best 4 subjects, will study a Bachelor of Science at the University of Auckland.
Many of our top students received degree offers from several different universities and had the luxury of choosing the degree option that best suited their needs.

Taylors Auckland Foundation Year (TAFY) January & April 2007 Results
Taylors College Auckland has had another successful year placing its TAFY graduates in New Zealand and Australian universities.
- 95% of students from the January and April 2007 intakes received a final offer from a university.
- 94% of these students were offered places at one of our partner universities.
- Demand for business and commerce degrees remains strong, at just over 50% for The University of Auckland and 75% for AUT University. Science and design were also popular choices, at 18% and 10% respectively.
It is always great to see our students succeed in their applications to top Australian universities.
Although fewer than normal are planning to study in Australia this year, one TAFY graduate has been accepted by The University of Melbourne, and 6 were given offers of place at Monash University in Melbourne.
