· 91% of TAFY students were offered a tertiary place.
Percentage of students gaining entry into partner universities
· 87% of the TAFY students received offers from The University of Auckland, AUT University or Massey University.
Many students received university offers from all our partner universities: The University of Auckland, AUT University and Massey University. Students also received offers from Monash University, Melbourne University, Queensland University, Victoria University (NZ) and Canterbury University.
Which degree attracted most students?
TAFY students have a wide range of skills and abilities and each student is counselled in their degree selection. This year Bachelor of Commerce (Auckland University) was a popular choice with Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) attracting the majority of our Physicists. Two young men passed the rigorous demands of entry to the Bachelor of Aviation (Massey University). Other students chose: Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Science, Humanities, (Psychology and Film / Media), Business, Design, Property, Law, Communication, and Information Management and Technology degrees. Several others opted for AUT University’s popular Bachelor of International Hospitality and Management.
