MUFY Assessment

Throughout the program, your achievement is carefully monitored.  You will be given regular feedback on your progress.

Final assessment comprises a mixture of course work, tests and examinations.  All external examinations are set, and results moderated by Monash University.

You will receive 4 written reports during the year, after weeks 5, 10, 20 and 30 approximately.  You will also receive detailed comments from your teachers on your classwork, tests and internal examinations.

Assessment of English Language

English language proficiency is assessed within the program.

Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing bands receive a score ranging from 0-9.  The overall language level is determined by averaging these scores.

Assessment for University entry

A minimum of 4 subjects must be passed in order to successfully complete the MUFY program.

A Credit (60% or higher) in English is also required by the faculties.  Your English grade, however, does not have to be calculated in your best 4 subjects unless otherwise specified.

All Monash Faculties add 10% of the 5th subject score as a bonus.
