Which intake is right for me?

To be able to choose the right intake, you’ll need to know three things:

  1. The semester in which your preferred University of Western Australia undergraduate degree is offered for example February or July. If the degree starts only in February, the best option is to undertake a UWAFP intake ending in November or December, otherwise you will have a long wait for the start of your degree.
See: Minimum entry requirements for The University of Western Australia undergraduate studies table (PDF 61K)
  2. Which subjects are compulsory for entry to The University of Western Australia undergraduate degree that you want to study.
See: Minimum entry requirements for The University of Western Australia undergraduate studies table (PDF 61K)
  3. Whether you meet the requirements for the Foundation intake.
    See: Foundation Year entry requirements.

Unsure? Follow these step by step guidelines to choose the program that suits your requirements and abilities.
