Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, has been voted as the world’s 7th best city to live in. 

Sydney is the oldest settlement in Australia, with world-famous icons such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, set around a stunning natural harbour.

 

 

Swim, shop and relax in one day

The beauty of Sydney is that you can enjoy the relaxed Australian culture and big city life at the same time.

Enjoy a morning at one of Sydney’s many amazing beaches, including Manly and Bondi or view the city sights from the sea by taking a ferry across the beautiful harbour.

For lunch, enjoy a meal at some of Sydney’s famous ‘eat streets’.  You’ll find a truly global range of cuisines including Scandinavian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Greek, African, Lebanese or traditional Australian food.

In the afternoon, shop til you drop!  For designer clothing, Oxford Street, Paddington or King Street, Newtown are all must-visit shopping locations, and an array of top brand international shops exists in the Queen Victoria Building or the Pitt Street mall in the city centre.
  
Weekends can be spent at one of Sydney’s many markets or quick weekend trips to Sydney’s outer regions.
