Students over 18 years old can choose to look for private housing by renting a flat or apartment in the local area.
Rental properties range from $200 to $350+ plus living expenses (food, utilities, transport, entertainment etc).
Check the Yellow pages for real estate agents in the Waterloo or Redfern areas. You can also use http://www.whereis.com/ to find areas close to campus.
