I have enjoyed meeting lots of people from many different countries.

My hobbies are exercising on a regular basis by swimming, bike rides, running, weights and snowboarding.

What is the most interesting place you’ve ever been to and why?
I went on a four day trek in the jungle at Chang Mai, Thailand. We stayed at villages with the tribesmen and were told many stories about their history. The people we met and the views we saw were the most amazing experience I’ve ever had.

Who is your favourite Taylors College teacher?
Mrs. Baude, my arts teacher. She is very personable, chatty and really approachable. I know if I were ever to have any problems I could talk to her.

Tell an interesting story about an experience you’ve had at Taylors College.
I got into the lift and a teacher started talking to me as if I was another teacher, then I had to tell them I was a student!

What is your most favourite item that you brought with you from home?
I know it sounds silly, but I have a blanket that I always snuggled with for years back home. I brought it over to Australia and it still keeps me nice and warm in the winter.

What is your favourite Aussie or Kiwi word?
I don’t know, there are so many I’ve picked up like “Arvo”, saying “your right” and “bloody oath”.

What makes you unique?
I think that maybe a while I like to have a laugh and have fun. I can be quite strict, structured and very organized.

What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?
Coming away on my around the world trip which started 3 years ago. I’ve traveled to many countries and met so many people and made so many friends. It’s made me learn so much about other countries and cultures and now settling in Melbourne.

What advice would you give students who are planning to come to Australia?
To organize themselves on a day to day basis, allowing time for school, homework, friends and rest time during the week.
