Tell us a little bit about your background and why you decided to study in Australia
I did a lot of research on different education websites and realised that Australia offers one of the best education systems in the world. The teaching quality and the support that students receive in Australia is very high. People are very friendly and the overall lifestyle in Australia is easy going and fun.
Tell us about your experience at Taylors College and what really stood out for you during your time here
My experience at Taylors College was excellent. I enrolled at Taylors in 2009 and found that the school offered great teaching quality and support for students. The teachers and staff were very caring and always ready to answer any of my questions. The tutorial classes Taylors offers really helped me to catch up and also boost my results. It was fantastic that I could get one on one consultation from my subject teachers.
The support that I got at Taylors also really impressed me. With the welfare office open every weekday, I received all the help I needed, either with my study or just my daily life issues. Sometimes it was a great place for me to let out my stress too!
Great quality teaching and exceptional student support are the things really stood out for me at Taylors College.
What are your plans for the future?
I plan to finish my university study. I'm hoping to get another scholarship/internship to continue study at the Masters/Phd level, and then be a great engineer (Kevin received a scholarship from the University of Wollongong to study the Bachelor of Civil Engineering).
What advice do you have for future students?
Work hard and consistently, also work smart, and be humble. Make your passion your profession and success will chase you!
